These terms apply to every order placed via melbono.nl. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
An agreement is formed the moment we receive your payment. You will receive confirmation of this by email, including an invoice.
All prices shown on the website are in euros and include 21% VAT. The price shown by the calculator based on your uploaded file is an automatic estimate. For complex or hollow models the final price may differ slightly; we always check this before starting production. Should the actual price differ significantly from the estimate, we will contact you before proceeding.
We print and ship your order within 2 to 3 business days after payment is received. We ship across Europe. Stated delivery times are indicative; no rights can be derived from exceeding them.
When ordering you can choose collection instead of shipping. No shipping costs are then charged. Collection is available regardless of where you live.
Collection is by appointment only, at our address Punterweg 20 in Zwolle. We contact you as soon as your order is ready, after which we arrange a time together. As production takes 2 to 3 business days, a collection time can only be scheduled after that period.
Even when you choose collection we ask for your full address details. These are required for the payment through Mollie and for the invoice.
If your order has not been collected within 30 days of our notice that it is ready, we will contact you about shipping or about a new appointment. Any shipping costs will then still be charged.
We check every file before we start printing, to ensure your model is actually printable. 3D printing is a production process in which small, technique-characteristic variations can occur, such as slight layer structure or minimal dimensional deviations. This does not constitute a defect in the product.
Melbono is not liable for damage arising from the use of a delivered product, unless there is intent or gross negligence on our part. We are not liable for defects resulting from an incorrect or incomplete file supplied by the customer.

Our products are manufactured based on the file you supply and your specific choices for material, colour and quality. As such, our products fall under the statutory exception for custom-made goods (article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code). This means the statutory right of withdrawal (the 14-day cooling-off period that normally applies to online purchases) does not apply to orders placed with Melbono.
If something is unexpectedly wrong with your order, for example damage during shipping or an error on our part, we will of course resolve this free of charge. See the Complaints section above.
When placing an order, we process: your name, email address, shipping address, and your order details (uploaded file, material, colour, quality, quantity). This information is necessary to process and ship your order.
We do not keep your information longer than necessary. Invoice data is kept for 7 years, in accordance with the statutory tax retention obligation. Uploaded files are kept until your order has been completed and shipped, unless you indicate that we may keep them longer.
Your payment details are processed by Mollie, our payment provider. We never receive your full payment details ourselves. To ship your order, we share your name and address with PostNL. We never sell your information to third parties.
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use our website. This data is anonymised and is not used to identify you personally.
You have the right to request access to the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Please contact us at info@melbono.nl for this.
